Tour itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech to Dades via Ait Benhaddou.

You will be picked up early in the morning on the 4 day Marrakech excursion. We begin the first day of our trip to the Atlas Mountains in an air-conditioned modern vehicle, with a stop at the Argan oil cooperative. We will then see a small Berber village occupying a strategic position in the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving for a magical stop at the famous Kasbahs at Ait Ben Haddou.

From Ait Ben Haddou, we will go to Ouarzazate, the key southern entrance point and crossroads. The city is full of interesting and beautiful sites, including the Glaoui Kasbah of Taourirt. The Atlas Film Company Studios tour may possibly be of interest to moviegoers. Many films and television programs were shot in the region, including the fifth season of Prison Break, the well-known Game of Thrones, The Vikings, and so on.

After lunch at one of the local eateries, we go further into the Dades Valley to see some of Morocco’s most stunning canyons. We will spend the night at a pleasant guest house in Boulmalne Dades, a village located on the border of the desert, where we will have an evening meal and breakfast the following morning before continuing through the Dades Valley to Todra Gorge.

Day 2: Dades to Merzouga via Todra Gorges.

Following breakfast, we drive directly to the beautiful Todra Gorges, a gigantic steep-sided canyon formed by the river through the limestone in the eastern portion of the High Atlas Mountains. It is a well-kept location with asphalt roads that guide visitors around the wide canyon.

You’ll see rock climbers, people attempting to reach the top of the cliff face, and floods from the Dades River.

After refueling and enjoying a delicious local lunch, we continue on to our last destination of the day, the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, but the finest desert experience is still to come.

Riding camels across the golden sands of the desert is something you’ll only see in films like Lawrence of Arabia, but for the last step of today’s trek up to the Berber desert camp, you’ll board a dromedary.

The camels will convey us across the Erg Chebbi Dunes. With the option of walking beside the guides. Yet, you’ll soon discover that a camel ride is the most convenient and fun way to explore the desert. Stay in a Desert Camp for the Night

During the last night of our four-day desert journey from Marrakech, you will have the chance to have an extraordinary experience by sleeping in a traditional Berber tent in the heart of the Sahara Desert. The tent is comfortable and well-equipped.

You will feel the desert air at night as you have your evening meal beneath the stars (weather permitting) with the ambient sound of soothing Moroccan drums to help you relax.

Most people will sleep easily during the desert night due to the fresh air, jet black sky, and the occasional sound of the camel’s breathing.

In the morning, you will stay in camp and have a hearty breakfast before embarking on the Adventure by 4 Car.

Day 3: Marrakech desert tour.

The third day of our four-day desert trip from Marrakech is interesting since we will explore the desert surroundings.

After a hearty breakfast, our special trip will take us to the Nomadic families of around 20 members who live nowhere under handmade tents. It is said that these great people survived by using their hands to do whatever, and we will see how they transfer in the desert as we see their hurds of goat and sheep babies.

We will travel towards the Algerian border, where we will see a colonial town from the twentieth century during the French era, a tiny ancient town that is regarded a particular army area in the meanwhile, we will witness a weel or “kohl” the black of the eyes, which is considered part of cosmetics.

A panoramic picture from which we will identify the massive and spectacular Erg Chabbi…and so forth.

We will continue our journey to Khamlia, a small village on the outskirts of the Sahara desert known for its traditional music author “Gnawa,” a tribe’s people who immigrate from the middle and east of Africa, where we will have the opportunity to try Berber “whisky” tea with mint. Finally, we will conclude our journey by driving to a traditional museum of a Qatari guy who owns hundreds of 4×4 cars.

Last but not least, we will proceed to Hassilabied’s beautiful oasis for a stroll and to view the irrigation system.

Eventually, we will return to your Village hotel, where you will have extra free time to enjoy your traditional accommodations and unwind in preparation for the following day.

Day 4: Merzouga back to Marrakech.

The last day of our 4-day desert adventure from Marrakech to Marrakech will begin with breakfast and will take us through the gorgeous Draa Valley, with breaks for coffee, lunch, and, of course, photos. Testimonials

Great experience in Morocco

I visited Morocco with a group of friends. We were immediately greeted by our tour guide, Hamid, who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the places we visited. Every aspect of the tour was well planned out, and we got to experience a large part of Morocco in just a week, all for an inexpensive cost.

Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience everything Morocco has to offer.

An experience to remember!

Booking a tour from here is a must for anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Morocco. We booked through Said, and everything was taken care of from the second we landed till the moment we left, leaving us with a hassle free holiday. Our guide Hamid was the sweetest, and he made sure that we enjoyed every second, even the long car rides.

The hotels we stayed in were beautiful and central so it was easy to explore the cities we were in during our time alone.
