4 days tour from Fes to Merzouga

Day 1: Fes to Merzouga

On the first day of your 4 days tour from Fes to Merzouga, we will depart from Fes and travel to the desert town of Merzouga. Travelling through the scenic landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can take photos and enjoy the scenery. You will also have the opportunity to visit Azrou’s cedar forest, where you can see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Then, on your way to the Sahara Desert, you’ll pass through several Berber villages and towns, including Erfoud and Rissani. Finally, you will arrive in Merzouga and spend the night in a traditional Berber camp.

Day 2: Merzouga desert tour

On the second day of your tour, You have the chance to discover the breathtaking Merzouga Sahara Desert. Start your day with an authentic Berber morning meal before setting out on a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi sand hills. The desert’s magnificence and the stunning sunset over the dunes will leave you in awe. Afterward, head back to camp for a delicious supper and some entertainment, including customary Berber songs and dance performances.

Day 3: Merzouga to Midelt

On the third day of your tour, you will depart Merzouga and travel to Midelt, passing through the Ziz Valley and its spectacular palm groves. Along the way, you’ll pass through many Berber villages and towns, each with its own distinct charm and culture. You will have the opportunity to explore the Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular canyons. You will then continue your journey to Meddite, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 4: Midelt to Fes

On the last day of your tour, you will depart Midelt and return to Fes. You will pass through the beautiful scenery of the Middle Atlas Mountains once more, stopping in Ifrane, Morocco’s “Switzerland.” You’ll also get to see the Cedar Forest and feed the wild Barbary macaques. Finally, you’ll make your way to Fes, where your tour will come to an end.
