Day 1: Marrakech to Dades via Ait Benhaddou.

The 3-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour begins with an early pick-up from the airport or your Marrakech hotel. Then travel across the breathtaking High Atlas highlands and over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. There will be stops for panoramic views of the magnificent scenery.

From that, we carry on to the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified settlement designated by UNESCO as a World Historic Site. Additionally, the Kasbah has featured in several films, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and others. As well as TV shows such as Game of Thrones. Afterwards we travel to “The gate of the desert” Ouarzazate. After lunch, we will continue to see the Rose Valley, passing past Skoura’s vast palm grove. Day 2: Dades to Merzouga desert.

Following breakfast, we travel through the Dades valley, stopping at a vantage point above the valley to take in the breathtaking scenery of the Dades gorges. Next we go to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River cut out a great canyon through the mountains, creating a towering red cliff-sided gorge. Feel free to roam around the gorges and take in the scenery. After that, we travel through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm plantations. On the journey, there will be time for lunch.

We arrive in the afternoon in the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you transfer to camels to traverse the dusty desert. You will be taken to the top of a high dune to see the spectacular sunset. Day 3: Merzouga to Fes via Azrou and Ifrane.
